What data does Heras Safety request access to?
- Granting permission on the Heras Safety website:
When making a notification, if the user chooses the "Use current location" option, the browser asks for permission to use the current location. Passing on the location is essential for resolving unsafe situations, but the user can also choose not to give permission and add the location themselves.
- Granting permission in the Heras Safety app:
At the first use of the Heras Safety app, the user is asked to give Heras Safety access to the location services. Passing on the location is essential for resolving unsafe situations.
When creating the first notification, Heras Safety requests access to the photos and/or the camera to add a photo to the notification. Adding a photo is not mandatory but makes the reported situation clearer and helps resolve dangerous situations.
What do we do with this information?
All information we collect can be used in the following ways:
- The operation and application of the application
- Sending push messages and emails about the notifications
- Analysis based on anonymized stored data
